2020 is shaping up to be an exciting year for Clydewire
Normally, our blog is where we like to deal with the weightier issues influencing our market and our clients. However, we still find time to have some fun and, where appropriate, to blow our own trumpet a little. It’s our blog afterall!
On that subject, we’re growing, and as a result, we’re moving. We’re not moving due to vanity and a desire for more glass and a pool table, but because we’ve had a really strong 2019 and have a fantastic pipeline of business for 2020 and beyond.
Rapid growth can cause a few headaches – how do we find the right staff to service our clients, are our processes and systems robust enough to cope, and, of course, where do we put everyone?
While we do have a small number of remote workers and have a positive approach to flexible working practices, most of our team are working collaboratively in our offices most of the time. We’re now four times the size we were in 2018 and simply need more space. Moving is a big decision. It has an impact on business and needs to be planned carefully and executed efficiently in order to maintain service levels and continuity for our clients.
So, we were delighted when a larger office, with the flexibility to adapt to our needs, became vacant in our existing building – Alexander Stephen House. It’s close to the Clyde Tunnel and just 10 minutes from the city centre one way and 10 minutes in the other direction to the airport.
The new studio is bigger, being developed to perfectly suit our needs for the short and medium term, more secure and designed to be an inspirational environment where our staff can thrive and our business can continue to progress.
Clydewire launched in 2018 when Loudon Design and My Server Guy merged to create a full-stack agency with an extremely compelling proposition – conversion led design and development. From software and ecommerce to managed hosting and marketing & design, every part of the Clydewire business has leveraged that proposition to grow.
To manage that growth we’ve enhanced the team with high quality talent capable of hitting the ground running and making a positive impact on their projects. They’ve excelled and it’s allowed our commercial team to on board new clients and increase the amount of business we do with our existing customers.
We’re excited to see what the next chapter in Clydewire’s story has in store and look forward to welcoming clients and prospects to our new home very soon. If you’d like to have a chat about a project that will benefit from our skills and experience, give us a call or drop us a quick email and we’ll set something up.
